Grow the airport
Thirty-one upgrades, from a second check-in desk to a third runway. Gates, a cargo terminal, shops, a food court, lounges, a parking garage and a hotel. Every one shows up on the map.
Sign airlines
Eleven fictional carriers, from turboprop puddle-jumpers to long-haul widebodies. Each wants the right runway, the right gate size and a reputation to match, and commits more flights as you earn it.
Keep it moving
Check-in, security, baggage and immigration all have limits. Let a queue build and reputation slides, and the airlines notice. Staff every post, train crews and promote department heads.
Handle the trouble
Fog, storms, snow, bird strikes, scanner failures, strikes, inspectors and drone sightings. Thirty-two kinds of issue, each with a real decision and a real cost.
Run it like a business
Set landing fees and retail prices and live with the result. Take a loan when you need one. Watch the daily run rate, the cash curve and the passenger graph climb.

About Airport Director

You've been handed the keys to a two-gate airfield. Planes are already landing.

Nothing waits for you. Flights arrive on schedule, passengers stream through check-in and security, cash comes in with every landing, and problems turn up when you least want them. Pause, or play at 2× and 4× speed when the airport is humming.

Watch the split-flap flight board and the live movements ticker while a top-down map fills in with every gate, runway and terminal you build. Plan around four seasons and the weather forecast, keep the city council happy, and read the weekly airline report cards. From the international tier, night freighters, cargo and a night shift join the schedule.

Every night brings an end-of-day recap and tomorrow's schedule. Run several airports at once, each with its own save.

No. There are no ads of any kind, and no watching videos for rewards.

Can I play Airport Director offline?

Yes. The game never connects to the internet, so it plays the same on a plane as it does at home.

Does my airport keep running when I close the app?

No. There is no offline progress. The airport only runs while you are playing, so nothing goes wrong while you are away.

Which devices does it run on?

Airport Director is on iPhone (iOS 26 or later) from the App Store, and on Android phones (Android 12 or later) from Google Play. Each store sells its own version, so buy it on the platform you play on.

Can I run more than one airport?

Yes. You can run several airports at once, and each one is its own save.

Are the airlines real?

No. All eleven airlines, and every airport and city in the game, are fictional.

What data does the game collect?
